Emergency Medical Services Training
American Red Cross certified programs in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) are available in a stress free environment that leads to successful completion of training. Classroom and practical sessions may be arranged for private or public groups of 6 or more. AED (automatic external defibrillator) training is available for those who have successfully completed first responder or basic CPR training.
DOT (Dept. of Transportation) Basic EMT refresher training is available for groups of 12 or more. This is a 24 hour recertification program with credits through OEMS (Office of Emergency Medical Services/ Massachusetts). Other continuing education programs offering credits through OEMS are available in a variety of areas including but not limited to; medical emergencies, fire ground rehabilitation, smoke inhalation/carbon monoxide emergencies, incident management system for the EMT, loads, lifts and carries including scoop/folding stretchers and stair chairs.
